Saponification: the Chemistry of Soap
Why does soap work? How was soap discovered? How do you make soap? These are some of the questions that my science students answered through an inquiry based lesson. I created an outline of the lesson to enable my students to follow along during the lesson. The outline also included places for the students to inquire about questions directed by the instructor, me. I have included pictures of the student's work. I wish I had a camera to add pictures because the soap lesson was quite fun!
